I need to get a semen analysis performed, any advice as to where??

Hello,

I need to get a semen analysis performed. I visited a urologist who ordered it, and they gave me a booklet with a few labs but nobody is answering their phones to confirm if they accept insurance, so it is a bit insane trying to get an answer as to where I can go that my insurance will cover!

I found an older thread where people said they went to QuestLabs in Syosset to get the test done, also Sunrise labs in Hauppague.. yet, i called the labs and there is no way to get in touch with a human to confirm! The thread is also more than a few yrs old, so that info may not be current and their websites, aren't helping. Questlab's website actually shows they do not offer semen analysis anywhere in NJ,NJ,CT so that Syosset lab may not even be there anymore...or the website can be wrong.

Does anybody know somewhere on the Island I can go to?

Maybe a little far, but you could try NY Cryo in Great Neck.

Or maybe Northwell Health. I think they have fertility services in Manhasset, possibly other locations.

I would call the Urologist back and ask them for a specific place and tell them the issue you're having getting in touch with them. Hopefully they'll be able to get you in somewhere. If not, maybe call a local fertility dr and ask their advice.

NY Cyro doesn't accept insurance unfortunately.

I discovered Northwell in Manhasset but nobody is picking up the phone. Same with QuestDiagonstic, robo menus lead you to more robo menus. Insane.

Sunrise has a lab and I'm going to setup an appointment with them since my insurance covers 'em and they answer their phone with a human and not a robot.

If anybody is curious/needs to know, Sunrise labs at hicksville is the only location that offers a semen analysis for Sunrise labs.
