So many calls!
Anyone else get a million calls about your cars extended warranty?!
I don't even have a car under my name!
So insane!
Sorry, just had to vent bc I don't know who's calling and with work and the kids I pick up bc of course they're local #'s.
So annoying!

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of those. I've been blocking the numbers, which has helped, but they still manage to sneak through once in a while....

I do and I am just wondering what it is- like it must be a scam if they are calling people with no cars registered to them, or in my case a lease, etc
So what's the scam? They want Credit card info maybe?

I actually hit 1 to speak with someone bc I remember reading somewhere don't say you want to be taken off the list or you get more calls. Who knows! I spoke with some woman with a heavy accent from gd knows where. I made my own accent saying I don't own a car, but maybe someone bought a car under my name and didn't extend the warranty. LOL! She hung up.
Oh, but when I got connected to someone (which was really fast) she asked for the make and model of my car

Yes, I usually don't answer unknown numbers, but I've been expecting a few calls lately...so I've answered them....pretty much always the extended car warranty.

I honestly don't answer any number I don't recognize. Done that for so many years.
If someone needs me, they can reach my cell or leave a message.
I do google the number though and have seen this before.

Sometimes when the same number stalks me over and over, I will pick it up and leave it on speaker to see what the eff they have to say.

I started blocking the numbers but they call from so many different numbers!

i moved across the country and didn't change my cell phone number. aside from DS, it's the only "local" number that calls me. so i always know it's the warranty people.
like someone else mentioned, i answer and will not speak. they usually get frustrated and hang up on me. there have been a couple of times that i answer and get flustered that my warranty is ending and i ask to speak with a manager because i can't believe someone let this go so far without telling me. it makes for a good chuckle.

They keep looking for someone named linda. They have gone so far to send her address in text messages. (so of course I googled her)
I keep wondering if we had a close enough phone number that she transposed the #s. (she's in her late 70s).
I have had my numbers for about 15 years, so I know it wasn't someone who had it before.
But I just want to say thank you Linda... Because of you,i get all your spam calls
