Yes. My daughter goes to school, dance school, play places, shopping...so whats the difference?

11 kids is a lot, but I took my DC to a party where there were 5 kids (but birthday child had siblings and parents). I think under 10 is probably ok. I would consider it. My kids have missed out on so much, that an in person party would be nice.

For me, the places you mentioned above are controlled environments. People are mandated to wear masks and for the most part will appropriately social distance. In a private home, there are no mask rules and children will be less likely to distance themselves from others.

If my child did not play sports, yes I would send them to the party. However, we are more terrified of the quarantine than we are of the virus. If one person at party has it and gives our info to contact tracers, then we are locked up for 2 weeks and I do not want my kids to miss out on their sports when they arent even sick. It is the only social interaction they have.

OMG...yes, I agree, my one son had to miss 2 hockey games because he had to quarantine.

My daughter goes to the playground almost everyday, play places etc..they play with masks but they are still on top of each other. I just don't get it if you do all the things i mentioned. Wear a mask to the party.

My son isn't doing indoor things other than school. There is so much snow by us that the last 3 times we have been to a playground, we have been the only crazy people there. I can not risk having to have him quarantine for 2 weeks and miss in-person school due to a birthday party. That's pretty much what it comes down to.
