This guy was pissed enough to write multiple negative reviews but not pissed enough to make a simple phone call looking for his money?
Yes, this guy is really odd. He never actually called to complain, he wrote a letter a few months back. I literally called the next day, but wrongly assumed he would call us. I am not used to that. I am a phone person. I don't even really like to text so maybe I do not get it. The patient is in his early forties, so I really do not get it.
As for the doctor, he is been in practice solo for the past 30+ years and I think his reputation is solid and can sustain a bad review. He is slowly getting over it. He isn't really used to the internet dictating his performance as a doctor.
In my experience, about 95% of patients are reasonable, most are really sweet and nice. But there is about 5% that no matter how nice you are or try to correct an error, they are intent on finding fault (like that poster, lol). That us EXACTLY the reason I think we should not ask to revise the review.
BTW, check was sent with out a request to revise. But thank you all for your input!

Also, if the doctor is an in-network provider for that insurance company, the insurance company may have received a complaint. Personally, my insurance company threatened legal action against a doctor of mine who overcharged me in violation of his contract with the insurance company.
You may choose to consider proactively documenting procedures for how the billing office handles situations like this in the future.
