Moving goal post AGAIN
I don’t care where you stand on Covid. But can everyone agree that this is getting ridiculous??
Biden just hinted that 98% of Americans need to be vaccinated to return to normal.

She is worse.
She was at a church when she made that comment - so I am thinking she was trying to cater to her audience (although I think it's ridiculous as well).
I think 98% is a lofty goal - and even if you get those who are opposed to vaccinate, you still have those who can't so that number won't be achieved.
This will go on though at least through the mid-terms.

I did not think it was possible that this state could get any worse. ENTER GOVERNOR HOCHUL! The things that come out of her mouth at times are downright scary. She is a totalitarian and now we are stuck with her. I was so hopeful for a positive change, especially with her being a female, and she has been nothing but a disgrace.
I am sincerely fearful of our healthcare system. Nurses were understaffed and overworked PRE-Covid, nevermind since the pandemic. Now this woman on a power trip has no problem firing people in an overtaxed system because she wants everyone vaccinated? Bullsh!t. Take your vitamins and wear your seatbelts. The last place you are going to want to be is in a hospital.

Yup. It is because the "vaccine" does not stop transmission so unless most of the world is vaccinated, it will never work. So basically this will be the flu with shots every year for those that want it.

She said she’ll enlist the help of health care professionals from other states/countries, get medically trained national guard members, and even attempt to get federal disaster medical assistance teams if there are any shortages in hospitals and health care facilities due to the vaccine mandates. She said she’s even willing to sign an executive order to allow all these people to work here.

That's nice. Perfectly capable, well trained staff who live and pay taxes in this state can't work here but we will spend tax payer dollars to recruit God knows who from all over the world to do the same job. Sounds like a solid plan.
I could not believe she declared a state of emergency over this. An "emergency" caused by her very own actions. How demented!

Just read an article today about Singapore which has 80% vaccination rate and is experiencing a surge in cases. The article indicated that majority of cases were mild but infection was almost split between vaccinated vs. unvaccinated.
Seems like covid is not going away anytime soon. Hopefully with high enough amount vaccinated we can keep deaths down and severe cases that need hospitalization down so as to not overwhelm hospitals.

But, a far worse off flu since it has killed more people than the flu did. Hopefully the new strains are more mild as time goes on and the deaths will be down due to vaccines. I guess we will see!

Exactly and I don’t think anyone in my house has even had the flu (I remember once as a kid) and we all went to work and school with people who were sick.
My one kid got the flu shot at school which I found odd as they never had it but that is my child smh.
