Covid Vaccine (Teens)

I know this is a hard decision for some parents to make so wanted to share. My nieces 17 and 12 (13 in a few months), got the first dose of the Covid shot on Friday. They are both fine, no side effects and are in school today. There were some concerns with the older one but so far so good. I'll keep you posted after the second dose.

They decided as a family and the girls wanted to take it. My sister also consulted their doctors and took them for physicals. At the advice of the pediatrician, they will wait 4 weeks after their second dose to get their flu shot.

My teen would have never gotten one if college did not require it. Both my kids did not want it and were basically forced.
