Tips for Party Help
How much would you tip a DJ for a three hour party that he is charging $600 for?
Also, we rented a mechanical surfboard. The cost is $700 for 3 hours. What tip would you give on that?

$100 for the dj
Not sure what the mechanical surfboard operators role is but I guess $50-$100 depending on how active of a role they take

$100 for the dj
Not sure what the mechanical surfboard operators role is but I guess $50-$100 depending on how active of a role they take
It will be a pretty active role - monitoring it the entire time.
I had $120 down for the DJ and $100 for the surfboard operator so your thoughts are almost exactly mine.

For the DJ, I'd do $120 (20%).
I'm not really sure what the mechanical surfboard would entail for me to give a good answer.

The mechanical surfboard - definitely not. It will just be an attendant to sit there and monitor the line and operate the ride.

I will! It's for a graduation pool party for my daughter's class! I hope the kids like it. They are 11/12.
