Okay, I was persistant, and we are going to see a specialist here in CT (thank you reggie) tomorrow at 11:00am.

This was the same place that wasn't going to squeeze Buca in until Nov. 7th! But the girl I spoke to this morning said that she thought about my dog all night and switched some stuff around to allow Buca to see the BEST of the BEST (according to her) in the morning. I feel better now.

I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.

I am so sorry that I haven't updated you girls.

The appointment was changed, it was actually this morning at 9am. Trying to hold my three year olds hand, carry my one year old, and hold Buca's leash was interesting to say the least. Buca was such a good girl though.

The doctor felt all of Buca's lymph nodes, and unfortunately, they are ALL very inflamed, which is a change from last week. He's pretty sure she has cancer.

He aspirated her lymph nodes and ran all sorts of blood tests...I am expecting a call this evening or in the morning with the results.

She's in such bad shape (she's getting worse every day ) that I am fairly certain it is cancer...but of course I am praying that she will be okay.

Once we get the results we will have to decide what to do. Keep praying! I will update this as soon as I find out.

I would take your dog to a specilist office. I personally feel vets are good for shots and basic treatment, but when an animal is ill, the specialists have all kinds of different doctors with specialtys that know up to date treatment. You would be amazed what they can do to prolong the life of an animal. If you need to find a place, let me know. There are a few in Nassau and one in Suffolk I go to. Good luck!
