Question on invetro
we know some that has tried it 2 or 3 times. it hasn't worked. the girl smokes and they liver near a sewer plant. can that be a reason that it hasn't worked

smokimg lowers your chances DRASTICALLY with IVF.
Why would she take that kind of chance with such an expensive invasive procedure.
I smoked for many many years and quit before my IVF. I wouldnt take the chance of anything affecting the outcome I could control.

i agree. from what we were told they know people that smoked a drop while pregnant. but if u know you're having trouble, quit. thanks for the answer. we had a feeling smoking was a big reason

Smoking is definitely a no-no and if you're trying to get pregnant (either naturally or with IVF), you should quit ASAP.
That said, there may be so many other reasons why IVF has not worked for your friend. There are plenty of women who don't smoke and still can't get pregnant with IVF.

has she tried accupuncture? Somne of the most reputable iVF clinics recommebnd accupuncture along with the procedure to increase your chances of success. Also what type of reputation does the clinic have?
