Used to go all the time but I haven't been in a looooong time. I am definitely to old for that now I don't think I would enjoy it at all.

I went last year for the 1st time ever and WOW it was fun! Even if I did feel old, after about an hour I didnt feel anything but happy!

Love the place, my DH and I had a dual bachelor/bachelorette party there last summer. Haven't been this summer, but may go in August. It's such a fun place!

I've only been for a fundrasier- (to raise money for legal fees for all the bars and clubs)
DH used to go all the time- when he wasn't working at Neptunes- but if we go out there- we go to Neptunes- we know everyone that works there since DH worked there for 6 summers- and I am not a fan on waitin on line
I wouldn't wear good shoes to Neptunes or the Boardy barn

I was just talking about this the other day with a good friend of mine. I haven't been there since the summer of '94. I was 22 turning 23. I started dating my DH that winter. He is 6 1/2 years older than me and it just wasn't his scene.
I must admit I LOVED it. I'll just have to live vicariously through you ladies who still go.
BTW-I never had beer poured over me and I did have BB shoes too!
Wasn't there some little rhyme that they stated about throwing beer?

Miss it!
I was just thinking a couple of Sundays ago while I was hauling cement debris out of my house (from the bathroom gutting) that I could be at the Boardy Barn right now!!!!! 
I had Boardy Barn shoes as well...
