DH says that they are so painful to watch right now. He also said that if Heilman, Mota, and Schoenweiss are all on the Mets next year that he is done being a Mets fan. He will go to another team...traitor!... I called him that too. But he said that he is serious about that because that's how mad he is at them right now. He also said that years ago when he was younger he was a Yankees fan and what made him stop being a Yankees fan was stupid things that the management were doing with the team and well he's at the point of feeling the same way. He cannot understand what is up with Willie lately and why he insists on keeping these guys. He's really mad.
I'm mad at them too and if they blow the season after being in 1st place for months then I will be so sick to my stomach!

What's already got me sick is that the Yankees are 1 game behind Boston after being so far behind them all season. The Red Sox and the Mets picked a bad time to fall apart.

well the mets lost tonight the final score was 7 to 8, and it went into the 10th inning! they need to get their'ACT' together!!!

I don't even care anymore at this point because the way the bullpen has been performing it would give me too much anxiety watching them in the playoffs.
For them to blow the season after being in first place all season long is enough to make my stomach turn. Baseball season is done for me. I wish them luck in the playoffs if they make it because IF and that's a big IF they make it, they are not going passed the first round...
I just cannot watch them anymore right now. They could have a 12-0 lead and they still would manage to blow it. When having the lead means nothing because of the freaking dumba$$ bullpen you know things are bad...

Both games this weekend were blacked out here (in Colorado) even though I have the Extra Innings package with Direct TV .
But at least they won, and the magic number is 5!!!!
I can't say I have high hopes for the team - they're so frustrating to watch sometimes. But we'll see.......
