Maybe they're trying to lull the other playoff bound teams into a false sense of security???
At least the Mets are pretty much guaranteed to get to the playoffs!!!

If you're a long time Mets fan you're used to heartbreak, the infuriatingly poor baseball. They raise our hopes and dash them at the last second in a first pitch pop up with 2 outs...
