most of my other gifts: i'm making.
what's done:
mom's bf - knit scarf
little sister - knit hat and scarf
grandma - knit dishcloth set
ds - knit socks and scarf
what i'm working on:
dad - knit afghan
mom - knit sweater
yes... i'm crazy

for the first time ever, I started early - today in fact.
I was at the outlets in Riverhead and bought a HUGE Estee Lauder gift set for my MIL. the price was too good to pass up.

I bought my sister another years subscription to Cosmo.
That's all so far...
I have too many other things (Birthday's and Anniversaries..including my own) before Christmas. I honestly cannot even think about it until the month of October is completley over.

I bought my son his big gift, so that's a start - and the earliest I've ever done so. The rest will just be done in the two weeks before Christmas because that is how I operate.

I started. We are exchanging with ILs when they are up at Thanksgiving. Between November and January it's both MIL & FIL's brithdays, anniversary and Hanukkah so I have to get a lot for them.
I've picked up a few toys for my kids since I found some stuff on sale and it seemed silly to pass it by.
I think I'm getting DH a portable XM unit so he can listen on the train, so I've started to research that.
My family is doing a secret santa and we'll pull names at Thanksgiving so I can't start that yet.
Still have to figure out what to get BIL and his FW as well as my dad and his wife, but there's time for that.

Although I'd like to, I can't do it yet with a house purchase getting closer.
I joked with my family that no one is even getting presents from us. I might be closer to that idea than I thought!

I have started but it was more by accident then anything else.
I was shopping for something else and saw some things which I said to myself, "Oh so-and-so would love that" So I bought it.
I really hope to have everyone done by December 1st.
My job gets ridiculously crazy in December and I barely have time to eat/sleep none the less think about xmas shopping.

I've started already - and have some ideas on what to get other people. I do most of my shopping on line anyway and try to stay out of the malls as much as possible.

i refuse to start Christmas shopping until November. it doesnt feel the same to me if i start sooner.
