For those of you wondering why in the world a guy would post on this forum maybe I can shed some light.
First off I was intrigued to say the least with my DW's obsession with LIW and since I was not really interested in all that I came to LIF.
We know many of the posters here in RL so I felt as though I was keeping up with my friends that add so much to my already full and satisfying life. Let's face it we are all busy and what better way to keep up with each other than posting or reading each others posts?
Now at first I didn't think that I would have anything to contribute to a mostly female forum but as time went on I realized that I did. The male perspective is usually always welcome.
Posting on the parenting, home, sports and pets boards, all of which I have experience with, gives me a feeling of helping my "community" if you will.
Posting on NFR is just for fun. Sometimes there is a topic that I feel strongly about and put in my 2 cents for no other reason then to speak my mind. Not to sway or influence anyone else's opinion.
I won't claim to speak on behalf of all the guys but I think it's safe to say that they mostly feel the same as I do.
So in a nutshell I enjoy the diversity of this "community" and have and will continue to foster friendships on and off the boards.
We may not get along all the time but hey what "family" does?

Thank you Kevin for posting this. You summed up what I would have said. I am a man and I started coming here when I had questions about buying a house. Everything that I ever wanted to know is here to be found via the search function. Thanks for all the informative posts on the "Home" forum. I come on NFR to keep me entertained while at work. When we decide to start a family I know there is a wealth of information on here too. I want to know about every step befoe I do through it because I am a worry wart. Thanks Ladies and Guys.

This forum was not intended for women only.
I welcome men's opinion and their "side" of the story. It's refreshing actually!

you post here b/c you want to. who the eff cares what anyone elses husband would do, or wouldn't do???
as long as Ron is ok with it, this site is whatever the INDIVIDUAL member wants it to be.
people can question your reasons and your motives until the cows come home. they can post "unwritten" rules until their fingers fall off.
but in the end, none of that ish matters. it's so boring really.
