Did you ever go to ID salon (I think that's what it's called)? I am not sure if they still exist but there are next to Starbucks at the corner of Jericho and South Oyster Bay road.
I went there a couple of time. I was happy!

I would highly recommend Nelza at Jason Royce salon. A few people here recommended it there and I have been very happy with them. Nelza is excellent.

I went there a couple of time. I was happy!
It's still there! I've never been there though! I think I am turned away when I go by it since the parking lot always seems packed and like a huge hassle. I could be wrong.

Salon Dakotah is great!
I second them. They're on Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. I've gotten some really nice haircuts from Liz.

I go to Cactus in Plainview. Desiree or Liz cuts my hair.
Eddie does my color. Eddie, Liz and Desiree came from Jason Royce.
jason Royce merged with another salon on jericho and Nelza stayed.
I love Nelza but I like a one stop shop and a colorist is harder to find so I went where Eddie went.
I really like it there. Also, I'm able to ask for discounts sometimes.

Yes, after the fire they became Salon 230 West. They are still on Jericho Tpke, but in Syosset (west from where they were). I was just there today and Nelza did a fabulous job!

Thanks everyone! I made an appt at Salon Entourage.... Going Tuesday morning, so I will report back! It's literally the closest to my office and I've heard some great reviews, so I'm giving it a shot! At least I know I have a few other recs should I need them after this cut!

I used go there as well. I was very happy with Linda. I no longer work near by so that's why I stopped going.
