I love the Leprechaun Report. The traps totally remind me of my cousin's attempts to catch Elijah on Passover.

The daycare that my son & daughter were in used to have the leprechaun visit & knock over stuff, causing mischief. If you catch a leprechaun, he has to tell you where is gold is.
Later on, we switched daycares in the beginning of the year. My son was so excited the night before St. Patrick's Day & started telling us that he can't wait for the leprechaun to come to his new place. DH & I looked at each other & both wondered if the new daycare would even do anything with the leprechaun. Maddie was too young to know about it but we wondered if he would be disappointed so we started doing it at home.
It's escalated over the years from knocking over chairs & setting up a bed of pillows to creating a dance floor of bubble wrap that they can irish step dance & dying their hair green every year.
If you look in related topics, there are ones for the past few years.
here is the post that started it: http://www.lifamilies.com/chat/topic.aspx?&P=1&ID=39922
oh wow!! thanks so much for the info, that's really really cute! and funny! now all the hand written signs make more sense

Re: The Leprechaun Report 2010 (pics)
I do it in my classroom now and one of my students came in and told me what happened at her mom's school. I had to share it...her words..."He pees GREEN pee! He left GREEN pee in the toilet!"
