Re: Hard time speaking up for yourself?

Posted by kbeana24

Anyone else but me?

At work I have the hardest time contradicting someone if I know Im right. In the moment I freeze up and think "maybe they're right" instead of trusting myself and speaking up.

Anyone else?

SOmetimes I take the cautious route on purpose bc I choose which battles need to be fought. Some people who ALWAYS fight with people and ALWAYS need to be right end up being looked down upon without knowing. BUT if you are always doing this you should definitely thinking about what you could gain from speaking up at that moment.

So true. Plus I dont like confrontations. I've learned that the times I should speak up and don't are times when I get taken advatnage of.
