it's so nice that they ask for a list!
we're getting DD (us and/or grandparents):
more food/pans for her play kitchen
crayola stuff b/c she loves coloring/scribbling
aquadoodle
bath toys galore
books
puzzles
zhu zhu hamster and/or more fur real pets
the sweetpea MP3 player
this microphone thing that makes your voice change
money for college/savings

DD was 1.5 last Christmas...her big gift was a play kitchen. She LOVED it and still does. I'd definitely get him the Elmo kitchen!
You sure? DH and I weren't sure if he's old enough to get into it yet.
Oh yes.......we got Emerson the Grow With Me Kitchen for her first birthday and she LOVES it!! She pretends to eat and drink and she stirs the spoon in the pot. It's adorable. I think your DS would love the kitchen.
