1 or 2 night stands?
Just wondering what most people have these days. Most furniture packages I've seen only have 1.

2 -we went furniture shopping this weekend and were so annoyed by packages only including 1 nightstand....then they think it is ok to charge $2-300 for a 2nd stand.

This was a selling point for me......
I looked at a few that the wife and I both liked but when they added the nightstand and the ........ and ..........
It was cheaper and better getting it all together.

We have 1 because DH likes to have his side of the bed against the wall.
It's annoying though because I have the one night stand on my side and I have to reset my alarm clock for him when he needs to wake up.
Eventually, I will get him a shelf.

we have 2. i think the reason why most packages only have 1 is because they want it to sound like a really great deal. then when you add in the extra night stand, dresser, etc. it starts adding up.

I just ordered our bedroom set and it actually came with two.  We would need two no matter what, one for me and one for DH.

I have two...but they're not a set.
One is actually a vintage Singer sewing machine table But the style and wood color goes with the other nightstand.

We currently have 2 mismatched ones. When we move into our new home and buy new bedroom furniture (which we already picked out) we'll have 2 that match!

We don't have a furniture set, but we have 2 night stands. When DH moved in with me, it was his first request! He had to use a folding table for his books at first.
The alarm clock is on my side--I get up first, but it has 2 settings.

Ours don't match, but we have 2. I keep my watch (which is my alarm clock) on my side, and DW keeps the child monitors on her side, among other things.

same here. The positioning of our bed made it hard to put 2 night stands in, especially since nightstands seem to be getting bigger these days.
