1 year bloodwork/Quest diagnostic labs

Has anyone taken thier DC for bloodwork at Quest labs? Im looking for one that has experience with babys. Im freaking out, i want it to be a 1,2,3 thing and dont wanna worry about them having to stick her a million times. I live in coram so hopefully there is a place not too far from here that knows what they are doing Im even debating on skiping the bloodwork all together since my dr dosnt even require it, i need it to get wic but maybe its not even worth it and ill just pay for her milk myself lol

I took DS to the Quest in Smithtown.
He was only stuck once.

We didn't go to a Quest close to you--ours is in Port Washington, but just wanted to let you know it was fine. DS really didn't even cry, just flinched a little. He likes gadgety things though, and I think he was interested in all the stuff they had in the lab. And the woman who took his blood was great with him.

I would get the tests done, especially if this will get you WIC, and they do screen for lead, anemia, etc. Even if your paint is new, if you live or have your child in daycare in a building built before 1978, there could be lead paint. It's well worth it to get this test IMO.

Got it done in Forest Hills yesterday in fact and it was a totall breeze. She didn't cry at all- she just stared, LOL.
