10-12 month feeding question
How small do you cut pieces of food? I feel like i cut the pieces so small. This morning I cut a banana into like a million pieces, am i making the pieces too small?
Also, what serving size do you give?

I don't think there's any such thing as too small but depends on DC. I know for Ellie once a food is familiar she'll tolerate bigger pieces but gag at first so if you think they're too small try going a little bigger, but I feel like better safe than sorry. As far as portion, I'm no help. I feed DD one food until she starts throwing it then I know I have to move on to another until she does the same. So I do the main course then the fruit, etc. It's really a guessing game to me when they're done.

Re: 10-12 month feeding question
Well, Ava doesn't get her food cut up too small anymore. She eats it really well in bigger pieces. I mean, I'm sure they're still small, but in comparison to what she used to eat, they're pretty big. She has no patience for it when it's too small. But it totally depends on your child and where they're at with table food.
As for portions...I just feed her until she's done eating. Tonight, she ate an entire chicken cutlet, probably the size of my palm, but sliced thin, about an entire handful's portion of broccoli and an entire apple. That was dinner. She ate an entire turkey sandwich for lunch and a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of applesauce for breakfast, along with a snack of a slice of cinnamon raisin bread and cheerios This kid can eat! But we also just cut out a bottle of formula, so she's eating a lot more now.
