100th day projects

So who has a DC that needs to make one? And what are they going to be doing? DS can't use food items. He wants so make a necklace. I bought sports themed beads and will do something with them. You?

We have to do this too. We're allowed to do anything.

Last year we had to make tee shirts and she put 100 stars onto a tee shirt with the number 100.

This year she has to make something else that she can show (examples were...feathers, googlie eyes, candy, beads, stickers, balls, rings, etc). She did two things (home sick so extra time). She stenciled in glitter glue the number 100 on poster board, then added 100 butterfly stickers. She then made a few necklaces for herself and her teachers. Color beads....10 sets of 10 beads to wear.

Last year we made a big pink piggy bank out of thick cardboard and DS used 100 pennies inside the bank.

I drew. Huge gum all machine on cardboard. Dd colored it. I then gave her a bingo marker and she dotted 100 gumballs.

DS loves lego so DH suggested to him that he make something out of legos.

My son had to make a 11x14 poster with 100 of something on it. No food. Nothing heavy. We drew a rocket ship and he glued 100 beads on the outline. He wrote/counted down from 100 on top and wrote blast off. He decorated the background with planets and such. It came cute.

Re: 100th day projects

There are great pinterest projects. We did a monster with 100 googly eyes...however, if anyone is going to take my suggestion, buy the peel and stick googly eyes because trying to get my son to glue 100 googly eyes down was really annoying!

I saw something on pinterest where they made the number 100 out of 100 legos (on a lego piece as well!)

We're doing this but I do the gluing and she just picks out which eye she wants where.

We have to make a t-shirt with 100 items on it. I am not looking forward to this. I am not a crafty person.

We did this last year. I got 3 or 4 different size stars cookie cutters. It was actually pretty easy. Just dip and press on the tee shirt. Let it dry. Just remember to put something in the shirt so it does bleed. It was pretty quick. I know some picket 10 shirt paint tube colors. The child did 10 dots with each of the 10 colors.

One year we traced and cut out 20 hands and pasted them on paper (20 hands, 100 fingers). You could do the same for a shirt, just get fabric paint and let the kids have fun : ).

Uggh, I just looked in DS's folder and he has to do this. Too many projects!! Chat Icon

Eta: we are making the number 100 out of a hundred of the gem accents you put in vases (had them from his science project I never used). We are gluing them on Popsicles sticks and will stand them up on a styrofoam base that I will have DS paint!

It would be cool to see pics when you ladies are done!

One year we clipped 100 paper clips together in groups of 10 with 10 different colors.

One year We made a gumball machine and put 100 gumball stickers in it (three kids did this in DSs class this year so be aware that it is a popular one).

This year (k) ds cut out 100 (approx. 1 in) pieces of construction paper in different sizes and spelled out his name.

Re: 100th day projects

So I ended up getting 100 sticky stars from Michaels and let DS just stick them all on a t-shirt. I don't care if it doesn't look "perfect". It is supposed to be HIS project, not mine.

We did "100 ways to say hello" and made a poster with hello in 100 different languages. It was kind of fun actually.

No project here...DC just has to dress up like he's 100. Not sure yet what he's wearing but it'll be fun.

Since it falls the week of Valentine's Day we put 100 Hershery Kisses in a mason jar and tied a tag "100 Kisses" with a ribbon around the lid. Very cute and couldn't have been easier.

Thats really cute, i like this idea.

With all of DS's projects it has to look like he did it and he has to stand up talk about in front of the class. They all have grading rubrics, so crazy that this is just K.

In any event, it wasnt so bad and we did it over the weekend. It came out cute and DS enjoyed it.
