12 (5oz) filet mignon..
would you pay 99.99 for 12 (5oz) filet mignon from omaha steak?? The steaks are soo good, im trying to decide if its a good idea.

It basically come to $26.66 a pound then
I don't know if that seems worth it. I have bought & made filet mignon from the supermarket, that is less then that & it has been really good too! I have made DH the filet from Trader Joes & he seems to really like it!

Trader Joes good? I tried steaks at supermarket and there so blahhhhh... I was just considering getting them for my dad. I'll try trader joes.

No. I only buy two steaks at a time, and I don't like freezing them.
Price-wise, I think it sounds about right. Are we talking Porterhouse here, or chuck steak? That would make a big difference for price as well. (obviously, right?)
