12 hours down, 4 hours left to go in the car
So here I am trapped in the car between my parents (with my mom nagging my dad) & 2 kids arguing because one is "looking" at the other one.
eta. Sorry hit curve in the road & hit post. Who knew an aircard worked so well?
Anway, cowboy/redneck wedding went off without a hitch. We had a great time. The rides back & forth haven't been too bad. The only "bad" part is that I'm the parent that is pefectly fine with kids who are bored. They do have the portable DVD player when they're really antsy, but otherwise, Ive told them to look at the window.
Beautiful scenary, with a whole lotta cows. (We're not on I-95).
I emailed DH snippets from the road besides 12 hours of "are we there yet?" Here they are for anyone looking for a laugh:
"Hey look! Someone CLAIMED that mountain!" (when Joseph spotted the cell phone tower on the moutaintop)

On our first night, Maddie threw up all over the bed, my pillow, me & then continued to throw up as I carried her down the hall to the bathroom. We were in the bathroom not 3 minutes beforehand because she said her stomach hurt.
Completely mortified. Hot dog everywhere.
At least it was a one night thing. Joseph said "I thought she was faking so she could sleep with you." I thought so too.

There was a huge disappointment with Maddie & Joe when they learned that my cousin is NOT marrying a cowboy & it's a theme. Joseph decided he is haveing a theme too.
He's going to have a ninja section, a spy section, an army section, a secret agent section. He's going to need a lot of changes of clothes because he wants to go in all of the sections.
Do you think he's going to add in laser tag?

Maddie is love with the groom & vice versa. She's already said she forgot what you looked like but remembered you were tall like the groom.
She's angry with you because when she asked if we could move to Georgia, I said "No, we need to go home. Daddy misses us"
Joseph's solution is for us to call you & have you move down here, but you're going to need a bigger car because he's concerned about his toys being left behind.

Just told Joseph that we're leaving for Mexico on Sunday. He knows we're going to Dallas & asked me to pick up a sheriffs outfit for him as a gift for missing us. I bought one in Cracker Barrel so we're all set.
Maddie knows we're going to & is upset because she wants to go. Joseph told her "It's for adults only Maddie. Are you going to be cursing there?"
I'll post some pictures later when I've had time to go through them. Decided I will definitely be taking a photography course as the wedding was indoors & I'm going to figure out this lighting thing once & for all.

Barb I love you! It never fails. Every time I' having a bad day I come here and I swear you always post something your kids say and I just LAUGH!!! It totally changes my mood for the day! Too bad they block LIF at my work! I'd probably be more productive if I could read the kids comments!! Thanks!!!
