1st "Big Boy" shoes
So after an attempted photo session with Lori from AvaJack Photography, Jake's G-ma insisted that we get him walking shoes... and who was I to say no... she's paying! (Something about seeing his first tooth when he was 3 1/2 months old.) So, after a little relaxing car ride we headed to striderite for the obligatory white walking shoe! So exciting. My little boy is getting so big..... and I know everyone has warned me about the expense, but OMG... what are they thinking???

I have heard that too! I loved DS first white walking shoe!!! He just looks too cute with them!

Isn't it crazy how fast the past year has gone! He's been cruising for almost 5 months, but is still apprehensive about venturing out on his own. My MIL is convinced the shoes will be what he needs to get going. We'll see.... I'm not rushing anything!
