I got her a necklace with her birthstone. Obviously she is still too young to wear it, but I wanted it to be a lifelong meaningful gift. (She got plenty of toys and such from everyone else!)

We get Sarah a Swarovski flower each year, and for my son we do a Lionel train collection.
So far she has the pink rose, yellow rose (not on site anymore) and forget me nots.

We bought him his radio flyer wagon for his 1st birthday.. you can see how much he loved it

Same here... We actually had a few Christmas gifts that we didn't give him because he got so much from other people. We just changed the wrapping.

Well, I was going to buy this great rocking chair, but I figure she probably won't use it much until she's 2, so I'll do that next year. I haven't gotten her anything yet, but I wanted to do some sort of keepsake thing. I'm going to check out a few shops tomorrow and see what I can find!

Yup, I get the small ones, they are $50 each. But they have bigger ones too.
They don't always have all of them in stock, but so far I've found something I like each year. And they also have a bunch of little animals that are really cute.

I wasn't planning on really getting much for DS... I mean I'm throwing him a party, I buy him stuff all the time anyhow, but I think for his first birthday, since I've been wanted to get him a white gold ID bracelet, I figure I'll do that for his 1st bday.
