In my old school I taught 2nd & we had a talent show every year. The biggest acts were:
2 little boys doing karate to Kung Fu Fighting
Three little boys dancing to a "cleaned up" rap song w/ break dancing moves
Magic show
If he can work in the crowd at all, it'll be a hit (asking them to clap, riling them up, etc.)
Things that flopped: telling jokes; too long lip synching songs or dancing w/ the same moves over & over
