1st grade teachers...need ideas for math bulletin board.
for open house. I've been teaching number lines, greater than, less than, etc. TIA :)

I teach 1st also and we start the year with numbers concepts so I just read the book Ten Black Dots, and then the kids each got to choose how many dots they wanted and turned their dots into a picture just like the book, although I had to use red dots because I couldn't find black dot stickers. They wrote the sentence ___ black dots can be ______

I don't teach 1st grade, but I love this idea!!! This might be something fun for my 5th graders to do with their 2nd-grade book buddies!
