1st period after baby- when did you start using tampons again?
Its been 6 1/2 weeks. I just saw my OB on Tuesday and he told me everything is fine, and I can go about normal activity -excercise, sex, etc.
So, I just got my period. Does this mean I'm allowed to use tampons again?

I tried to use them with my first AF after giving birth but it hurt. I had to wait until the 2nd one to be able to use them but my OB said I could use them right away.

Yup! I felt a little bother (can't really call it pain) the 1st couple of times but no biggie.

I didn't get my period until 4 months PP but I started using tampons again immediately.

I never thought I'd be so happy to use a tampon!
It is so funny you posted this..I just had my 6 week pp obgyn appt and asked my dr if i could start using tampons once i got my period...I HATED THE FEELING OF USING A PAD AND COULDNT AGREE WITH YOU MORE!!!!
