1st sonogram today at 5w5d - With a Question.
So we got to see our itty bitty peanut today!!! 
My RE said that everything looked great and that next week we will be able to see the heartbeat. I'm SO excited!!
They took blood work and called me this afternoon to tell me that they are going to start me on progesterone suppositories bc my level was at 8.6. 
Does anyone know what the 'normal' level is for nearly 6 weeks??

i cant remember the ranges but ask your dr.
i was on supplements till 23w.

I was put on suppositories too after my first positive beta at 4 wks post conception. My level was a 4.9 and they wanted it to be at lest 10 they had said. So mine was really really low. I stayed on suppositories til 10 weeks then I was allowed to stop them. They are gross though. Make sure you wear a pad cause you will be leaking gook all day long. Don't worry at 8.6 you are right there. Do you go back again for bloodwork soon? I'm sure they will check your levels again to make sure they are rising. Good Luck...you will be fine!!

When I was pregnant with my DD my progesterone was low..........around 10. They put me on progesterone suppositories until I was 12 weeks and everything turned out fine.

i was on prog supp the first 12 wks of this PG also. i cant remember what my #'s were, but i think they want to see the levels over 12 or something like that.

I go back on Tuesday for another sono and bloodwork. Hopefully these suppositories will bump me up to at least 10!!

Much higher than 8.6. Mine was also 8... everything is fine, but I was on progesterone for a long time.
I don't remember the exact #, but I found it on google. Maybe 25?
