2 years later...
2 years ago today I had my first loss and my first overnight hospital stay due to a fever after my d&e. I remember being woken up in the hospital for them to check my vitals and crying each time. When I was awake in the hospital and each time I would wake up from a nap or sleeping I would remember that I was no longer pregnant. It was a very hard time in my life, my marriage etc. While I had another loss after I did my best to stay positive and focused on what I ultimately wanted-to be a mommy.
Today, two years after that awful day, I am holding my beautiful almost 10 week old baby girl. I feel she completes me and that I was put on this earth to be her mommy. It doesn't take away from the babies I lost, but makes me hold her that much tighter.
I didn't tell anyone of today's 'anniversary' but felt I could share how I was feeling here.
There is hope out there-stay positive!
