2008 Inglesina Zippy with Bassinet- stroller help PLEASE!
So, I was set on getting the UppaBaby Vista, but then saw that the Zippy has a bassinet available for purchase. My sister has the Zippy and I love it. It is so easy to fold and works great. I know it is technically not in the same category as the Vista, but one of my deciding factors for the Vista was the bassinet. However, I am not sure if it is just too big and bulky for me. Do I go with the Zippy and bassinet which I know is one-handed fold, and super light, or the Vista, which is the "SUV of all strollers"?? ugh! i thought i was decided, but am now having second thoughts! the price of the Zippy and bassinet is not that much cheaper, than the Vista, so i don't care about that. Does anyone know where you can see the Zippy Bassinet in person? I went to BBB and BRU, but BBB only has the stroller and BRU didn't have either. Also, I heard the 2008 zippy has the foot board for a sibling already attached, which i thought was great (even though this is my first baby so I won't need that yet) AHHH- decisions, decisions! Sorry so long!

Hmm, I saw the Zippy at BBB but they didn't have the bassinet. I see the new 2008 collection is only available at BRU so I plan on getting it through them - via Internet or store. Sorry I can't be more helpful - I'm not too familar with the Uppa.

BTDT and I can totally tell you from experience, get the lighter easier one. I had a big ol' mac daddy stroller and I hated it and wound up buying a new one because I could not deal. It is all about convience, period.

The Vista is SOOOOO heavy. Peg perego Uno has a zippered boot. Not offcially a bassinet but it basically does the same thing.
My BF has the Zippy and the bassinet and LOVES it!

I really had my heart set on the Zippy because of the bassinet feature as well so I went to BBB down here in Va. to play with it and I personally found it too light and loose. The employee then showed me the Peg Perego Venezia and I fell in love. But the Peg is more sturdy and heavier so if you want a lighter stroller this probably wouldn't be the one for you. But it too has the zippered boot and full recline into a basinnet. I find it easy to fold and maneuver and I love the full recline position and that I can use it with my car seat as well.
But I have to say - you can't go wrong with the Zippy is you are looking for a lighter stroller!
