2014... plans, thoughts, ideas, wishes
no resolutions!! 
let's talk about all the amazing things we all are planning for the upcoming year.
it can be something you want to accomplish, something you know will happen and are looking forward to, something you'd like to spend time learning/doing...
* i'm looking forward to moving to california... especially the road trip as DS and i spend some one-on-one time visiting this lovely country of ours.
* i'm planning to dedicate more time/energy concentrating on the good in life and being more present in my gratitude of the blessings i have in my life.
* i'm going to concentrate on my running. i want to get faster!! i'm currently the slowest person in the world, i'd like to be the second slowest person in the world.
what about you?!

1. Work on running faster, like you. I would love to qualify for a boston marathon one day, even though that probably won't happen. Lol
2. Run another half marathon. Possibly another full if I'm not pregnant by then.
3. Hopefully sell our house and move into our forever home.
4. Possibly try for dc #2. But I'm still on the fence as to when and if I really want another. If we do decide to have another - this would be the year to do it. I'm not getting any younger! Lol
5. Eat cleaner. I have been slacking these last few months.
6. Take dd to Disney hopefully for the first time.
7. Start part-time photography business. I'm hoping to do it on the side.

So far, my list is short but with big things:
- Finish chemo
- Have my surgery
- Do whatever I can to not have post-surgery complications
- Once I get the all-clear from the doctors, BOOK MY TRIP TO IRELAND!!! I've never been, and it's one thing that has kept me chugging along through treatment...dreaming and researching about DH and I going there

2013 was a really bad year for me so I'm looking forward to leaving everything in the past and having a good 2014!
We do have a few exciting things to look forward to:
*Going to Aruba with DH in February!
*Our good friends are getting married in May.
*Going to see Billy Joel in June.
*Going to see Michael Buble in July.
*I'm the MOH in my cousin's wedding in September so I also have her shower and bachelorette party to look forward to.

Going to India in January to study yoga for 6 weeks!
In March, DH is meeting me in India and we'll be going to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks.
Hopefully saving some $$ and redoing our floors (fingers crossed!!)

Going to disney in August with my whole family!
Celebrating my daughters 4th Bday in February!
Celeberating my other daughters 1st Bday in May!!
Otherwise just going to focus on myself and getting in shape!

My DH has been on a short term contract with his job that ends April 2014. My only wish is that he gets a long term contract because he loves what he's doing and I know he would be devastated not only to be out of a job, but to be out of that job in particular.
Plus, if loses his job, we also won't be able to pay our bills, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
I also want to train for another 1/2 marathon. DD is 1 and I managed to get a few 5ks and 10ks in before her 1st birthday, but since the weather has turned crappy, I haven't run AT ALL. I'm so anxious to get back out there!

Back to school I go! Time to get ready to go back into the work force after being a SAHM the past 4 years, and what better way than to go into the field I've always wanted to (healthcare).

1. Having our first baby in April! This has been a long time coming. Excited to get everything prepped and then to welcome him into our lives! Yay!
2. Getting back in shape after baby - perhaps trying to PR in a 5K by the end of 2014 - I would LOVE to be sub-20 minutes.
3. Hopefully getting tenure!

I would love to have another baby in 2014, or at least get pregnant with a sticky baby in 2014. That's really the biggest thing for me. 2013 was not a good year for us.
We are also planning to renovate our kitchen in 2014 which scares the crapp out of me but is a necessary evil.
DH and I both turn 30 in 2014. Ah!

-Would love to save some $$ and just make smarter financial decisions
-I plan on making more of an effort to devote some time to myself once in a while. I feel like/look like a frumpy old lady lately so I would love to make more time to pamper myself occasionally and maybe have some more nights out with friends and/or DH.
-Hoping we can start TTC towards the middle/end of the year.

we're moving to a bigger place in the summer, so with the extra room now, we'd love to be able to have our first baby.
Besides my friends and family being healthy and happy, having a baby would be my wish for 2014

We are planning to TTC #3.
Aside from that, we will be doing a few minor changes to our house. Mostly redecorating and small projects.
If I don't get pregnant i'd love to run a half marathon at some point next year.
Work on my health/fitness/financial goals.
Be a better mom.
