21 weeks and cant sleep

Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone else cant sleep at night... I lay on my left side for about 2 hrs. then wake up with such a bad pain in my outer left hip. Switch to the right and the same thing happens...

I have tried pillows between my legs, laying on pillows, pretty much sitting up.... NOTHING HELPS.... I cant even sleep on my back, cause I feel like I'm pinching something, my entire lower back kills....

It used to never be like this!!!! It scares me cause I'm only21 weeks... I have a long road ahead of me....

I'm sorry I wish I could help you...I've had the same problem throughout my pregnancy. DH bought me a body pillow and it helps...sometimes. Lots of the girls on here swear by their Snoogles, so it might be worth the investment being that you're only halfway through your pregnancy.

Wanted to give you a ! My insomnia (if that what you want to call it) started early due to m/s after that stopped then at about 20 weeks Holy S*&^ it was just crazy...but believe it or not I'm almost 36 weeks and its getting a little bit better but the the hip thing is the worst you have to rub it out or walk it out that helps me. I was and still am sleeping on ly left I dont know why I try to go to the right and I feel like the baby is not getting blood!

I'll be 20 weeks Sunday and its really gettign uncomfortable. DC stayos only on my left so when I sleep on my left I feel pressure and it hurts me forcing me to stay on my right but then I wake up with hip pain and I bought a body pillow.

I wish there was something I could tell you but at 36 weeks I don't even know what sleep means any more. I keep telling myself our body is preparing for when baby gets here and we are up all day and night? That theory worked for about a week with me... now I don't even believe that anymore Hang in there, I really don't know what else I could tell you to do at this point.
