Sounds like round ligament pain. It's just from your belly stretching and everything shifting. If it doesn't go away after having some water and resting call your doctor, but pains here and there are normal.

Yeah, sounds like normal stretching and round ligament pain. It sucks.

Probably normal. I recall getting quick stabbing pains and I would have some water and try to rest a bit.

Re: 21 weeks. pain..
Anything you're unsure of, I'd put a call in to the doctor for. It's just not possible for the women on this board to diagnose what's going on here and if it's a problem, even though that chance is likely slim, you'll want to know so you can avoid it becoming worse. Speaking from experience here.
ETA: I just read the comments and saw you had your level two. I'm assuming they also measured your cervix- which frankly would be my concern here with sharp low down pains. It's good news that the appt went well!

Probably normal. I didn't have terrible round ligament but did have it. I was a psycho and called my doctor for everything. Probably wasted so much money in copays for no reason. I too had a SCH but I don't believe they cause stabbing pain. If you are worried call the doctor, never hurts to call! She is also getting bigger now and stretching out. Everything about pregnancy is just strange at times!

Barb, i have a doppler if you want it. Once you start to feel her moving you will be less nervous. But it is always nice to be able to hear the HB when you want. Let me know i can definitely send it to you. It probably just needs batteries.

Thanks Ang! One of the guys I work with bought a portable Ultrasound machine so I have been doing them on myself checking to make sure she's moving and her heart is beating. He left it at our other office and I yelled at him. He knows to keep it in my office from now on lol

When did everyone feel their baby move? I felt one kick a week ago and that was it.

I had anterior placenta so I rarely felt her move ever. I would be having sonos and the tech would be like- wow that was some kick! And I was like- What kick? I felt nothing. It was rough because I never knew if she was ok in there.

Not to add to your anxiety but just make sure you don't ignore concerns simply bc you see a heartbeat. Make sure you bring up all concerns with your doctor. Dd2 had what I thought was a perfect heartbeat but the ob saw otherwise and thankfully delivered right away. I know someone who also worked in a medical office and waited to go to work to give herself an ultrasound. Idk if it would have made a difference but she clearly should have contacted her doctor instead.

I have been going to the docs every week sometimes twice a week. I would never ignore something which is why I went last night. I don't know who to talk to about pains and aches so I come here lol

You will have a million and one aches and pains. There wasn't a day that went by that I felt good. I had to trust my instincts after a while otherwise I would have never left my Drs office. And I was high risk with complications and I had an amnio too.
I put it in Gods hands after a while.

Don't mean to make you defend yourself. I just seriously get anxiety when I don't post those reminders lol. I won't be having any more babies in part bc I'd be at the office nonstop for reassurance.

Re: 21 weeks. pain..
I just hate my docs. They say don't google, so I cut down but then they seem annoyed when I ask questions. I can't wait to move!

That's terrible. I wouldn't be able to stay with a doctor that was bothered by my asking questions.

21 weeks. pain..
It's normal to have aches and pains..it's normal to be worried..it's normal to look and ask around...it sounds like it's not so easy due to the sch but if it makes you feel ANY better..I am on number 3 and nervous, too! I would be annoyed if my dr.'s office was annoyed..there are things the nurse/receptionist can answer (I became friendly with the receptionist with tons of experience and three kids LOL) and in our office, if there is a doubt, they have me come! I remember with my first I apologized for coming in so often (I had bleeding) and the dr. said, "I like you! Come when you need!"

Re: 21 weeks. pain..
Yeaaaaa so the receptionist told me that everything was fine with genetic testing then the next day I get a call from my doc while he was in the OR telling me the hospital will be calling me and I need to go in asap. This is all on top of the sch.
I trust nobody.

Re: 21 weeks. pain..
I had this andterrible low back pain too so my Ob referred me to a chiropractor who specialized in something called Webster technique. It's to help with round ligament pain. The treatment is really gentle and relaxing. I was nervous to go at first but it helped so much.

Oh for crying out loud. Did everything turn out ok?
You'e not going to relax until she's here. I know because I was the same way (I also had an SCH and hyperemesis). Pregnancy is so hard. You're not alone in your anxiety. It's been a year and a half and I still vividly remember the constant state of panic I lived in for 9 months.
Hang in there
