i really want that Russian spy to come back - he was the only one that was strong willed like jack, loyal to county & gets it done
also China is not done with jack yet....

as a first time 24 fan (yes, I never watched the previous seasons  ) I have a question. I am vaguely aware of what happened last season, my DH always watched the show. I know China thinks he's dead.
the question is... do any of the seasons run into eachother? What I mean is, do they ever play out something that wasn't "closed" on a previous season?

24 writers have a good nack of keeping the seasons independent, yet 'kinda' linked. i think they do it for that reason that new ones can easily get into the show without 'history'
last summer i went back & watch Season 1-3
some good stuf, but the show has just gotten better. maybe you may try that as gas is high, so its a good pass time for home 
try watching Season 4 from beginning to end now that was awesome. you wont be dissapointed
