25 weeks and very little movement

Hi Ladies....

I have felt the baby many times....started about 3 weeks ago....

The past 2-3 days I think I have felt the baby maybe 2 times...is this normal?

I'm worried...

Re: 25 weeks and very little movement

I think there are definitely days that the baby will be more active than others. The baby might be going through a growth spurt & just resting. If you are very concerned, have a sugary drink, like OJ, and lay on your left side for 30-60 minutes. Concentrate on fetal movements. If there is nothing or just 1 movement, then call your doctor with your concerns.

Re: 25 weeks and very little movement

I read that the baby is most active between 27 and I tihnk 35 or 36 weeks. I'm 24 weeks and I feel the baby sporadically, nothing consistent. I also know my little one is on the lazy side though!

I wouldn't worry too much!

Yes. Drink a glass tho---not just a few sips. Then seriously take the time to lay down & focus. It's easy to miss a small movement when you are thinking about other things and typing on the computer.Chat Icon

BTW, it's not something that I would be overly concerned about BUT you do need peace of mind so you could even call the doctor.

I am on my way to work...I can get juice but won't be able to rest...I guess I should try it later...

Would you get oj and drink it on the way to work. Will that do anything?
