He takes out the garbage, empties the dishwasher, vaccums, mops, does all the laundry, and cooks on nights that I just dont feel up to it

Ummm...well...let's just say it's not on a consistent basis. He has cleaned the bath, kitchen, vacuumed, mopped, done laundry and taken the garbage out, but very sporadically. Tonight, he brought the dishes into the kitchen and took the garbage out.

he takes the garbage out to the street.... and he also helps me cook pretty much every night...and he'll do his laundry most of the time. other than that, not much. i get home almost 2 hours before he does, so i just end up doing some cleaning and stuff then...
BUT he is good at fixing stuff, so he does all that kind of stuff

Well, I'm not working at the moment, so I do most of it. But if I ask him 3x he WILL take the garbage out, and he did cook dinner tonight w/o being asked. And he did the dishes about a week ago (I re-did them the next morning, but will NEVER tell him).

I do the majority since I'm home, but I appreciate when he pitches in. It''s rare, and there's plenty I'm just better off doing myself, but I'll take help when I can get it.

Normally just take the garbage out and drop the laundry off at the laundrymat. But I need back surgery and can't do much, so he does pretty much everything. I try to do what I can, but for the last 3 months, he's been doing it all - Dishes if I can't, vacuum, clean the bath, etc...

he ALWAYS does the garbage
he occasionally does his own dirty dishes (most of the time they just get put in the sink for me to do)

he'll never clean the bathroom....ever.

whatever I need him to do...he's really good like that. We usually share everything except I always clean the bathroom and he always vacuums. It's worked for the first 9 months...we'll see if he can keep it up for the next 80 years!

I don't think mine knows the definition of the word.


He will put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but for some reason, it's only the dishes we use for dinner... never what might already be in the sink...

He brings the hamper down to the laundry room since it's usually too heavy for me. That's his way of saying the laundry is full and needs to be done.

He makes the bed in the AM 75% of the time since I leave way before him. Most of the time he remembers to put out the garbage. He hardly ever does the recycling part of it though. I along with our maid do the rest of the chores.

A little bit of everything. It's the beauty of marrying someone who is clean, who lived alone for a long time before I came along.

Honestly my DH will do pretty much anything I ask him to do. But as a SAHM it's usually all done any way...

He does dinner several nights a week, puts out the garbage, and is in charge of homework.

mine takes out the garbage, does all the dusting and all the vacuuming. i love him sooooooo much for knowing that i need help!

Dh has a few

Take out the garbage...But i have to put a new bag in.

He does the Bills

He rakes the leaves
and mow the lawn.

I love my Polish husband... Both my good friend and I married Poles... their families totally trained them to pull their weight at home...

DH cleans the bathroom and bedroom, vacuums, takes out the trash, washes the pots and makes the coffee in the morning, and occassionally is my sous chef (chops veggies). He does all of this w/o me having to ask....

forgot to add: does the laundry / dishwasher half the time....

I take care of the other 1/2 of the responsibilities....

-takes out the garbage
-bbqs dinner (never cooks otherwise)
-loads/unloads the dishwasher
-will pick up milk or bread (can't really call it shopping--- just one or 2 essentials)
-takes garbage/recycles out to the road when we pay for garbage pickup--- otherwise takes them to the dump weekly
