New mommy here!
Hi!!! My  Landon was born on May 31. I posted a short version of his birth story here on the pregnancy board. I am still in a lot of pain from his birth, but it gets a little better each day.
Landon is 5 days old now and things are going great! He is breastfeeding and has caught on fast. We have his 1st ped. appointment today. I am sure I am going to have a lot of questions in the future for you all.
1st one: can anyone help me with the peanut shell sling?
2nd one: I want to start pumping. If anyone has any advice or websites to share please do!
I have an album with pics of him - these are 2 of the more recent ones.

congrats!!
I pumped every 3-4 hours for 15 minutes...regardless of when he nursed.
I was super engorged, so this is what schedule the LCs set me up on.

How soon did you start? He is only 5 days old, but there is already a lot of milk in there. He doesn't nurse for that long at each feeding so I thought about trying to finish off with the pump after he is done eating

Julie, he is beautiful!! Congrats again and welcome to mommyhood.
As for pumping - I pumped for months, so let me know if you have any specific questions. If you still feel full after feeding him, you can pump a bit afterwards, make sure to rotate. If you feel yourself getting to engorged, making it difficult for him to latch on then you can pump a bit before you feed him.
