2nd baby
Hi All, I'm due with my 2nd baby in about 8 weeks. I saved a lot of stuff from my 1st child (3 years ago), but I want to make sure I'm prepared for baby #2. I'm not having a shower or a sprinkle this time around, so please help me - as a mom of 2 - what will I need to prepare and be ready for this baby?
Help ladies! I have total preggo brain!
Thanks so much!

Re: 2nd baby
I remember buying some new bibs, burp cloths, and bottle nipples. We also needed a new changing pad and cover because we wanted one in each kid's room. We also needed new clothing b/c even though both boys they were different seasons. And we got some new toys and things. I don't remember needing anything else...

Re: 2nd baby
What about a double stroller? Did you get one of those?

Re: 2nd baby
For baby #2, I bought new bottles, bibs, burp cloths, teething toys, wash cloths, towels, changing pad liners and binkies. I had to buy a new rock and play. I will forewarn you that I had 2 of the same sex so I had all the clothes ready. Now I am so sick of looking at DS2 in DS1's old clothes that I end up buying his own stuff anyway LOL
My kids are almost 4 years apart so I didn't bother with the double stroller.

Re: 2nd baby
We didn't get a double. My kids are 2.5 years apart so we got a used sit and stand. We're not big stroller people and only used it a few times.

2nd baby
I put a registry together for myself. My son is 5 so we need a new changing pad, new hooded towels, washcloths, more hangers, nipples, diaper pail.

Re: 2nd baby
We have 2 girls but I did pick up some new NB clothes since the ones I had had a few stains and weren't as soft anymore. We got some new burp cloths, swaddle blankets, mittens so she wouldn't scratch, and stocked up on basics like gas drops and stuff for me as I recovered. Otherwise we just pulled everything out, washed it, and then decided whether or not we felt prepped lol.

Re: 2nd baby
I didn't have a bouncer with dd, but when ds came around I thought it was useful because it was easy to move around the house. I was able to put him in the bouncer, in the playroom, and play with my dd with both hands lol.
