2nd birthday party???
We did a pretty big birthday party for dd's first. Now that the second birthdy party is just a few months away I am beginning to think that "keeping it small" will still leave us with too many people to fit in my small house. I feel like dd is too young for a gymboree type of party and the age range of cousins and friends of family is really wide for that type of party. I am curious what types of second birthdays that you have done or are planning for your dc? TIA

Re: 2nd birthday party???
I don't think my DD and her friends were too young for a gymboree party - however I have best friends w/out children and didn't want to exclude them so I shoved everyone in my small house! It all worked out. We just did a casual pizza party and cake.
My house got VERY crowded at one point but it all worked out!

Re: 2nd birthday party???
We were in the same situation last year with to many people for my house. We did it at My Gym and it was perfect. we had a range of 18 months to 10 years old. Everyone had a good time, my ds especially.

My friend just had her DD bday party at JW Tumbles and all the kids had a blast. She also had a huge age range and I think all the kids were happy. They did a lot of games and had tons of toys set out for free play.

Re: 2nd birthday party???
For DD's 2nd birthday we are just doing a party at the house, smaller then her first. I think she's too little to understand the "friend" party idea, so i thought it would be a waste of money.

Re: 2nd birthday party???
I think we're going to go with Gymboree (or something like that). But we're cutting our list from the 1st Bday party, and we're adding a few more friends with kids.
