2nd Birthday party (sort of a dilemma)

This summer, I have been taking DS to "camp". It is more of a mommy and me to get him used to the place he will be in school in the fall. About half the group of kids will be in his class in the fall. The ones who will not be in his class in the fall are a few months younger and could possible be in his class next year. Camp ends on August 6 and school starts on September 5. I will be doing DS's party on September 13.
Here is where the dilemma lies, do I need to invite his whole group from camp or just the kids who will be in school with him? Part of the reason I did camp this year, in addition to acclimating him to the school, is for me to meet other mommies to be able to do play dates with that live close to me. DH thinks we should invite the whole group since the invites will hopefully be going out before camp ends (I am having another baby the week after DS's party so I really just need to get everything out of the way ). I'm just not sure it is necessary. but I certainly understand where he is coming from.
Oh, also, one of the mommies of one of the younger kids (that will not be in DS's school class) is having another baby the week after I am due. I would like to keep in touch with her especially since the babies will be the same age (does that make sense?)

I would invite them all.. I actually am always in this dilemna since Jacob's B-day is Sept 1 and this year school starts on September 6th..

This is what I am doing-- I am inviting those from camp who will be attending his school in the fall ( THere are 2 kids that won't be-- Those 2 I don't think it is necessary). I am also inviting his entire class from this past year.. ( Most are in camp with him anyway)..

I would probably invite them all too --- especially since it is a matter of an additional 4 kids. And will be very good for your to have that mommy with the new baby in your network of friends because that really will work out ideal once the new babies are old enough for playdates!
