2nd Failed Cycle
I haven't posted in a while, but I think I am in need of some words of encouragement.
I just got the news yesterday that I got a negative result on my 2nd IVF cycle. My husband has low morphology and we did ICSI. I have five embryos left and I have no hope that the next cycle will work. I did acupuncture with my first fresh cycle but discontinued due to money issues. I am beginning to think there is something wrong with me, but I am assured by RE that there is nothing wrong. Its just sometimes it takes more than one try to conceive. Has anyone been in this situation before? I am having a hard time looking at little babies, my eyes tear up and I have to hold back crying.

I am so sorry it did not work for you. You have to look at it this way, you have 5 embryos left and that is great. I know how hard it is, but don't give up hope. It will happen for you! There are 5 little options waiting for you to implant them!!!

How about getting a second opinion? After two IVF cycles it can't hurt to have another doctor review your cycle + records and see what can be improved upon. After one failed cycle, I got a second opinion and I was glad I did.
