3 week old grunting all night???
DD #2 is 3 weeks old. she sleeps well throughout the day...however at night she cannot get into a PEACEFUL sleep. she is grunting all night and not really sleeping. she is breastfed and i just tried mylicon. i'm not sure why she can sleep so nicely during the day and not at night. she is NOT sleeping all day and has some awake time.
anyone have any advice or experience with this???

DD had the same thing. It was heartbreaking to see her so uncomfortable. She has a milk protein allergy and was not digesting well at night. Are you BF or FF? If FF, try Nutramigen. It worked immediately for us.

Same for me...DS has a milk protein allergy and I was EBF so I had to eliminate dairy and soy from my diet. He was also put on alimentum...and worked immediately for him.

Mine did that too. We used the mylcon with every bottle - that helped and also got a wedge for him to sleep at an inclince all night - it helped .I think he also partly grew out of it over time. GL I know its hard to see them so uncomfortable.

Mine also grunted all day and night. He was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy as well and needed amino acid formula-regular nutramigen and alimentum did nothing for him. He was on nuramigen AA
