3 week old with gas???
I am giving her Mylicon drops before each feeding..but she seems to be gassy. She is getting the gas out, not all of it though, and sometimes seems like she is in pain...any other suggestions? Thanks.

I am in the same boat....I give gas drops at EVERY feeding, use gripe water 4-5 times a day, bicycle her legs, burp her frequently during feedings, etc
I FEEL your pain, trust me

We went through similar & after changing formulas to Similac Sensitive, the peditrican told us to add a teaspoon of chamomile tea to every bottle.
We do this in conjunction with the mylicon drops before every feeding & now we also added 1/4 tsp 3x a day of mylanta...The baby is so much happier & does not suffer from the gas

We went through the same thing. Are you BF or FF? My ped. HATES that all the brands redid their formulas to add the probiotics. He said he has more kids now with reflux, gas and other issues more than ever.
We do mylocin drops and now at 5 1/2 wks. it has gotten better probably b/c his tummy is starting to adjust. He also said to give gripe water a try.

DD had terrible gas at that age as well! Ped changed her to Gentlease formula *worked wonders* and we also were told to switch from Mylicon drops to Little Tummies gas relief drops. They are the same type of drop but our Ped. saiid some babies actually get more gasfrom the mylicon. IT could be a fluke thing but the day we changed drops I swear she totally changed and hasn't had a gas issue since..HTH! I know how terrible it feels to see your little one in pain!

We were having the same problem. I was giving the Mylicon and it was having NO effect whatsoever. So 2 days ago, I switched to Dr. Brown's bottles, and yesterday morning, I started using gripe water before every feeding. So far, so good.
