30+ day cycle ladies...
How are you tracking your "O" dates...I have never had cycles this long until August...37 days! Now is looks like that may be the case this cycle as well. I am so bummed and discouraged. I thought I had my body figured out then all of the sudden my cycle completely changed. Came off of BC in march and had 29 day cycles until August! I am so frustrated.
Anyway any advice or tricks will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies

I have a 32 day cycle. I started using OPKs, and if this isn't my month I will start temping next month, but I'm hoping that I don't have to do that!

I had a 33 day cycle this time and before that: 39, 36, and 51 (the longest being the first cycle off BCP). I don't think I O'd until this past cycle. I used OPKs--started at CD10 and didn't get a pos until CD22. With pos OPK, I had EWCM, followed by O pains, sore boobs, etc., so pretty sure I did O.
We're taking a break until Jan, but I think I'll continue to use OPKs to see if I can recognize a pattern.

OPKs and temping. After coming off BCP my cycles have been long and wacky. Those two methods have worked well so far!

Hi - I have had the craziest longest cycles after coming off BC.
Started out with two 42 day cycles...then one 50 day cycle. I was not "trying" during those first 3 cycles I had an awful skin yeast (sorry TMI but it was a side effect of coming off BC I was on it for 15 yrs straight) and would not let DH anywhere near me. Then I went well over 100 days (close to 120 I think). Took provera to bring on AF. Got AF 2 weeks after last provera pill. This is when I started using OPK's. I used them every day of my cycle. Actually started with the monitor but stopped asking for sticks after 20 days. Then I switched over to the FR 20 pack...not cheap but finally on cd53 I had the 2 lines. I tested twice a day once I first saw the 2 lines and I had the 2 lines for 3 days. We BD'd every other day during my cycle and every day once I got the 2 lines on OPK. 2 weeks later I tested and got BFP!!!
So I am a big supporter of using OPK's every day...it worked for us first month of trying. Take it from me my cycles were off the charts long...POAS every day til you see those 2 lines! Then BD every day!

I'm using opks. I got positive opk on cd 15 & I think I o d on cd 17. Today is cd32 for me. Ugg

OMG thanks for this response! Very helpful...Congrats to you. I think that DH and I are going to take a break for a bit, but I am going to take your advice when we start back up. thanks for all of the helo ladies!

how about temping, and observing your CM every month and charting? I would think that would be the best way to do it with such long cycles. Have you read: taking charge of your fertility? it's a great book!

I am using OPKs. I start on the last day of my period and test twice a day - once in the morning and once around 6:30. For my first cycle (44 days long) I never got a positive OPK. For this cycle I did the same thing and finally got a + OPK on CD 28 and 29. Now I am just waiting to see what happens.
