i am usually at work at 3 am, but I actually woke up last night at 3:26 and could not fall back asleep...weird

My best friend who was also my roommate in college would stay awake until 3 am when I was out sleeping at my FH's apt. because she claimed that between the hours of 12am & 3am was the time when robberies happened so she would wait until 3am because robberies didnt' happen after that time. Crazy girl!! But I think she definitely read that statistic somewhere...

Oh Geez! I've had way too many stange experiences with the 3-3:30 window. All within the last year.

I woke up realizing someone was grabbing my foot. In the half sleep that I was in, I thought it was my DH. But he kept pulling to the point where I got really annoyed and "awakened" to realize it wasnt my DH.

Another night I woke up suddenly. I rolled over and through the moonlight coming into my room I saw 3 huge bugs, like scorpions on my bedroom rug. OMG, I freaked out. I put the lights on, but they werent there. So I went back to bed thinking my mind was playing tricks on me. I shut off the light, but they reappeared again, this time hissing.

Again I woke up suddenly one night,and saw a shadow crawling on the wall. That one was a doozy. Had to put the lights on and watch TV til the sun came up.

Last, but certainly not least. I woke up to a burning smell. When I came to my senses, I also heard a constant hissing. I checked the apt, but I couldnt find the burning smell. Made my way back to bed, and both the smell and hissing came back. That was another all nighter with the lights on and watching TV.

I've always woken up my DH, but every single time I bring it up to him in the morning, he has no recollection of me ever waking him up.

About two weeks ago my dog woke us up barking and crying between 2-3am. He sleeps in a room downstairs and we heard him outside our bedroom door at this time barking and crying for us.

When DH got up and brought him back downstairs he wouldn't let dh put him down...he seemed really scared and he's never done this and hasn't since....

so reading this thread is kinda spooky

I wake up alot at three am I did last night too! I never thought about that I forgot about the witching Hour.
