I am freaking out!!!!!! I am going to the ER...We are home!
Andrew woke up hysterical crying that his neck hurt. He won't walk or drink his milk nothing. He doesn't have a fever but just keeps crying and holding his neck.
DH said I should go to the ER but I am trying to get a hold of our ped and see what they say.
I am so worried because he was in a public pool on Wed and drank some water and now I am scared he might have caught something there!
The peds number is just busy and busy!!!!!!!
**I can't get them and now he doesn't want to look at the light.
I am all alone! I am going right now.
**Thank you all so much for your concern. It turns out he has some sort of virus. They said there is nothing they can do about except give him motrin for the pain he is in. The Dr said his throat is red but it maybe from all the crying he did all morning and also he had a slight fever when we got there. Now he is napping and the motrin seems to really be working. I was soo scared it was something worse. The screams he was making were the worst ones I have ever heard from him I felt so bad for him.

Somestimes doctors offices have different phone lines, do you have another number, maybe it was one or two numbers off from the one that you have been calling?
