1 year shots........ Please help... I'm freaking out

1 year shots........ Please help... I'm freaking out
DS had his 1 year immunizations yesterday. He got four shots. MMR, Pneumococcal (sp), chicken pox and Hepatitis. He also has had a cold since Monday evening, YET AGAIN! DS was fine until about 7pm last night and then wouldn't stop crying until bedtime. He slept great all night long. But when I woke him up this morning he immediately started crying again. And the babysitter said he has been awake MAYBE 45 minutes total all day and when he was awake he was just crying. The only thing he will eat today is his formula (which I was hoping to wean him to whole milk this week). He is going on a stretch now of 5 hours in a deep sleep. No fever, just a deep sleep.... I have left a message with my doctor to call me back, but I am sooooooo worried about him.... I can't quit crying and I feel like an idiot since I'm sitting at my work desk in tears all afternoon. To top that off, it's my 3 year wedding anniversary today and I just don't feel like celebrating at all! Is this all normal? Did any of your DCs react this way to their one year immunizations?

Happy Anniversary!  
My kids always slept alot after they got their shots. I think that in your little boy's case, it's a mix of the after effect of the shots and the fact that he's not feeling well.

My kids always slept alot after they got their shots. I think that in your little boy's case, it's a mix of the after effect of the shots and the fact that he's not feeling well.

I guess I'm just freaking out b/c he has never reacted this way after any of his other shots. First time mommy freaking out here. Thanks for your help.

My 3yr anniversary is today too and dd turned one on march 27th anyway dd gets like like for some shots plus is he teething as well

I think he's constantly teething, working on his back molars now I think.
