3rd tri girls....Personal question....added question...
You don't have to answer, but maybeamommy's post got me thinking....
how often in the 3rd tri do you and dh...ummmm...you know, bd, have sex, make love, whatever you want to call it!
Also-if you don't, why don't you? Fear of hurting the baby, fear of hurting yourself, totally not in the mood...

Im 38 weeks on Wed and I don't think we've done it in the 3rd trimester.
DH is scarred he will induce labor!!

To be honest, my libido is nil during pregnancy. It sucks. But as soon as I hit 37 weeks I am going to get myself into it to help get labor going.

Hardly EVER!!!! For a couple of reasons....now at almost 35 weeks i am so scared of inducing labor or something.....so not ready to have this baby yet! Plus....it has not been comfortable for me at all throughout my pregnancy...every time we do...i feel like i am going to pee....my baby must be VERY comfy on my bladder!

Haven't at all 3rd tri, either. I want to, but can't really feel like super turned on, or "Sexy with a giant kid growing in my belly..lol
Also-DH thinks the baby will get hurt, or he will hurt me.

It's been sooo uncomfortable for me. I feel like I have to pee or something and now my "down there" hurts and I'm feeling some pressure there, with the BH tightening all the time I just feel like I physically cant even though its driving me freakin crazy. All I keep thinking is I cant wait until I'm not pregnant anymore but then I'm gonna have to wait 4-6 more weeks on top of that. I'm going nuts here and poor DH has to deal with it, although he's a little hesitant anyway hes afraid he'll hurt the baby.
BTW Go Bethany! I wish I could keep up with that!

I can't lie......I have no sex drive currently nor through most of my pregnancy and well frankly...the last time we did, it was straight out of the scene from knocked up. I might see how I feel about trying it out this week but to only bring on labor
DH isn't all the comfy with doing it either.

We were doing pretty well up until about a month ago (DTD about once a week)...then it pretty much stopped. I asked DH the other night and he said he's afraid of bringing on labor at this point and doesn't want to do it.
Oh well, since it's him I guess he can't complain!

No activity over here during the 3rd - DH is too nervous he'd make the baby arrive - which was fine with me in the early part of the 3rd - but now with technically 6 days to go - I wish I could get him to break down!!LOL

not quite there yet, but we talked about it last night, we have been and will continue to be in 3rd tri, DH is a physician and see's no problem in doing it.
position is key to comfort, some positions made me cramp afterward
and expect baby to kick up a storm (especially if you O)

We do once a week. And it's normally on the same day and initiated by me. To be honest, I do it mostly because I feel bad for DH.
There are a few reasons we don't do it more frequently: mostly it's SO uncomfortable and finding a position is really annoying, and when I stare at my belly now all I think of is that it's weird that HELLO here's my baby and we're doing the deed. And if the baby kicks, forget it!
Also, I pretty much have zero libido right now but I know he does all the time (don't all men?), so I suck it up once a week and do it. That sounds totally dirty but you girls know what i meant!

every other day or every day since 36 weeks. My doc said it really helps speed along labor and soften the cervix.
edited because I put 6 weeks instead of 36....whoa!!
